Bovina, New York

There's something about being far away from the city, in the middle of nowhere, stuck with 19 old and new friends, and with no cable, internet or cell phone service. In other words, it makes for a relaxing, fun and memorable weekend!

Spending the weekend in Bovina, New York was much needed.  Having constant visitors and living in the city that never sleeps makes it difficult to chill out for once, so being far away from N.Y.C  felt amazing. Bovina was my escape to relax and ignore everything else for a little while.

We played all sorts of games (sober and not sober).
P.S — Am I the only person who thinks Cards Against Humanity is overrated?

I spent a lot of time with this little guy. Meet Ollie's new Instagram friend, Maximus

The last night, we had a big family dinner which was prepared by everyone except for my group of friends (oops). Next time, we'll come more prepared.

I giggled to myself when I saw this. You know you're with a bunch of Filipinos when they place a spoon AND a fork lol. For once, I wasn't the only person in the room using a spoon and fork.

I had such a great time with some amazing people.

Got back to the city and topped off the long weekend with ramen at Misoya. It was the icing on the cake.
