Valentine's Day Recap

Mother nature ain't stopping us New Yorkers from having a romantic Valentine's Day! Ok, maybe it was far from romantic since we had to slush around in the dirty snow, wearing 5 layers of clothing from head to toe. But besides that, I had the perfect V-day!

Bryce and I are a very unconventional couple when it comes to hallmark holidays like this. AKA we're probably one of the least romantic couples out there. The only thing we wanted to do was eat! Scrap the fancy-smanchy dine and wine places, we wanted good ol' filipino food. We paid a little visit to Cafe 81, a Filipino restaurant known for serving home-cooked entrees, since neither of us know how to cook. Luckily for us, they were offering three course meals for $30.00 and being the fat asses that we are, we EACH ordered a three course meal. My eyes were bigger than my stomach and I wanted everything!  We ordered sisig, pan de sal, lumpia, kare kare, adobo, garlic fried rice, halo halo and turon. I was definitely more than satisfied.

After we ate our faces off, we planned to watch the Leggo movie but 1) it was too damn cold and 2) we had food coma and ended up passing out at 10:30pm. I couldn't have asked for a better Valentine's Day :)
