The bold prints from the jersey top, textured faux leather pants and cute sandals were enough to turn this simple outfit into a bold statement!

Actually, this is the first outfit where I didn’t include any accessories (except for my rings that I never take off), a jacket/coat or a purse and I didn’t realize it until I created this post. Now a days, it seems like there’s an unspoken rule in the fashion world that one must always be accessorized from head to toe to avoid being categorized as a “plain Jane”. I beg to differ.

Less is more in my world. I’ve never been a fan of over accessorizing because 1) sometimes it’s uncomfortable and my arms, neck, ears, and fingers need to breathe! 2) I'm lazy. Don't get me wrong, I’m a fan of wearing statement pieces but the “plain Jane” in me prefers wearing sentimental and small jewelry—hence my rings.

Here's a challenge Yuppies, try something new and put together an outfit without accessories. Tip: start with a printed or textured top!
