As I’m getting older (ew… I hate saying that). OK, lets me rephrase myself … as I’m becoming more mature, I find myself longing for those moments of solitude where it’s just me, myself, and my book. Kind of ironic considering the fact that I’m a millennial blogger who’s “life” depends on IRL updates on all social media platforms. But lately, those long, no cell phone service subway rides have been my me time. My time to decompress and temporary leave the madness of this city through novels.
Which brings me to the YUP NYC Book
Here’s how it’s going to work. Each month will be dedicated to a specific book which I’ll announce on my blog. One book a month, not so bad right?! And don't worry, all books will be fun-reads only! I'm also opened to suggestions so feel free to recommend your favorite book or a book you've been wanting to read in the comments section!
So, join me on reading this month’s book, What She Left Behind, written by Ellen Marie Wiseman. This book merges the past and present into a haunting story about the nature of love and loyalty—and the lengths we will go to protect those who need us most.
