Life: My Biggest Fashion Moment at NYFW 2015

My first NYFW:Women’s couldn’t have gone any better. Thanks to COOLS and IfOnly, I was able to experience one of the biggest and most anticipated shows of the season, Prabal Gurung's Spring 2016 RTW.  I'm almost ashamed to say this but I know who the designer is, I’ve seen his work, and I loved his collaboration with Target, but I couldn’t say his name for the life of me! Hats off to YouTube for helping me learn how to pronounce prah-bull goo-roong (confessions of a D-list blogger).

Anywho, that’s beside the point. 

IfOnly did an amazing job with the whole experience and I definitely felt like an A-list celebrity/blogger. 


Days before the big event, I received the official invitation to the show which was impressive. I've been invited to shows before but this invite was so chic that it almost resembled a wedding invite — thick card stock with an embossed border.  

Once I arrived to the venue, a number of things occurred:

1) I was photobomed by the legendary street-style photographer, Bill Cunningham

2) Kylie Jenner’s clan of photographers and bodyguards almost trampled over me. 

3) I was escorted to my seat, which was a couple of rows behind my style icon, Solange Knowles. Not to mention, I had an amazing view of the entire show.

4) After the show was the after party, and my girl Solange was DJing.

What a magical night, right?? Well, it would have been an even better night if I was photographed by the dozens of street photographers waiting outside the venue. However, as I was walking out of the Skylight Moynihan Station, Miss Kylie Jenner "coincidentally" B-lines her way in front of me and steals the spotlight. 

So, technically I was photographed —mission accomplished I guess?

All in all, I has such an unforgettable experience and I couldn't have done it without COOLS and IfOnly.
