Events: 1800 Tequila-Inspired Sam Rodriguez x PUMA Clyde Launch Party

DJ at a Hypebeast event ... check!

As you all know by now, I've been tapping into a strong and not-so-hidden passion of mine and it has been quite a ride. It's crazy to think that a little over a year ago, I was spinning on my mini controller at my very first DJ gig in the LES. Fast forward to May 5th 2017, I had the dope opportunity to spin at Hypebeast's 1800 Tequila-Inspired Sam Rodriguez x PUMA Clyde Launch party at Extra Butter with the same controller that first got me on feet :). 

You would think by now that after consistently DJing for over a year, I would be more comfortable and less nervous but for this specific event, I was terrified. All the f*ck boys, dope girls, and streewear influencers were there and I had the responsibility of providing the vibes and setting the tone of the party, so obviously there was "no pressure". 

After the first hour and a margarita later, I got into my zone and the party turned into a true Hypebeast Cinco de Mayo celebration.
